PROJECT.
This project involved a full interior renovation of a home built in the 1990s. The refresh resulted in a dramatic transformation, featuring new Baltic birch ply millwork, along with updated finishes and flooring throughout. The finished Scandinavian look for family living was achieved through a fun collaborative process with the homeowner and an interior designer. The millwork was designed by Kuno, while JV Design selected the materials, finishes, and furniture.
PROBLEM.
The renovation of a previously dated 90's house aimed to transform a cluttered and dark environment into a bright and open home. This involved updating all interior finishes, lighting, millwork, and fixtures. The original layout didn't suit the family and their children. The teenager needed separate areas for solitude, while the toddler needed proximity to the master bedroom.
SOLUTION.
Rooms and spaces were reconfigured to accommodate an additional ensuite bathroom, a new walk-in closet, and a laundry room.
