Building Better Bathrooms

PROJECT.

Julie, Jane and Samantha wrote the Building Better Bathrooms book as a resource for designers, building managers, organizations and accessibility consultants to use - when developing new spaces, or when making modifications to existing conditions.

PROBLEM.

Julie, Jane and Samantha knew that there was a gap in the market for resource materials regarding accessible bathroom design.  As accessibility consultants, all three had to explain the same ideas and concepts over and over, explaining why and how different features can make a washroom or facility work for everyone. 

SOLUTION.

It dawned on them that they could create their own book.  A resource for designers, building managers, organizations and accessibility consultants to use - when layout out new spaces, or when making modifications to existing conditions.

PROCESS.

After over a full year of weekly Zoom meetings, Julie, Jane and Samantha have officially completed and launched their book.
