Jane has been working with the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification™ (RHFAC) Rating Survey since 2018.
Regardless of project scope, size or type, the RHFAC program offers a great organizational framework to review sites consistently and systemmatically, while providing flexibility and room for design innovation and ideas.
A few years before Jane completed her RHFAC professional training, she identified a gap linking designers and the needs and concerns for accessibility. She learned that building code was certainly not adequate when it comes to designing a large facility or space.

Reconfigured single family home into triplex. Kept the shell, fully rebuilt the interior. Divided into three separate accessible two bedroom living units.
